Announced in partnership with and at RSA Conference 2017, the award recognizes the overall product leadership of the Netskope Active Platform, and was based on an independent review of CISSP, FMDHS, and CEH certified security professionals.

The prestigious award honors individuals, products, and companies that demonstrate excellence, innovation, and leadership in information security, and is based on a combination of submission strength and popular vote by more than 300,000 cybersecurity professionals.
Selected by a panel of judges from leading public cloud companies, Forbes compiled its 100 most promising private companies leading the cloud technology revolution. Netskope was named the top cloud access security broker vendor in this group based on a combination qualitative and quantitative data and public, third-party data sources.
Based on an independent, thorough review of product comprehensiveness, use case coverage, and scalability, Network World rated Netskope above competitors. The review called out Netskope for its deployment options, robust DLP, and service database, the Cloud Confidence Index.
Netskope was awarded Security Products Product of the Year for Netskope Cloud DLP. The award recognizes this product as the most comprehensive in the industry, calling out advanced capabilities like custom regular expressions, proximity analysis, international support, fingerprinting, and exact match to prevent loss of sensitive content.
Netskope was a Certified Great Place to Work by the Great Place to Work Institute. The Institute called out Netskope for its superior employee satisfaction of 97 percent and recognized Netskope for its unique perks and programs, including the Awesome Women of Netskope (AWON), running club, and multi-cultural events.
Netskope was selected as CRN’s Overall Winner for Product of the Year for Netskope Threat Protection. The award recognizes this product for its 360-degree protection, comprehensive defense and remediation, and for the thought leadership and cutting-edge research of the Netskope Threat Research Labs.
Netskope founder and chief scientist, Krishna Narayanaswamy, was recognized as a finalist in the Most Innovative Thought Leader category of the inaugural Black Hat awards. The Black Hat Awards is a new program recognizing innovative companies and business leaders and honoring technical developments within the security industry.
(ISC)² recognized Netskope customer, Bently Au, Chief Information Security Officer of Toyota Motor Sales, USA, as a finalist for its Sixth Annual Americas Information Security Leadership Awards. This award aims to recognize the achievements of outstanding industry professionals who have led a workforce improvement initiative, program, or project.
Netskope was awarded Security Products Product of the Year for the Netskope Secure Cloud Appliance. The award recognizes this product as a critical offering for cloud-consuming organizations in industries and geographies that have tight privacy or data residency rules such as those beholden to the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
Netskope was named as a Gartner Cool Vendor. The report calls out Netskope’s Cloud Access Security Broker capabilities such as deep context and inline policy controls across a breadth of cloud services.

Netskope is an active and committed member of the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), a not-for-profit organization founded to “promote the use of best practices for providing security assurance within cloud computing, and provide education on the uses of cloud computing to help secure all other forms of computing.”
Leveraging Cloud Security Alliance Best Practices
Netskope values the advice and best practices recommended by the Cloud Security Alliance. In fact, in developing the Netskope Cloud Confidence IndexTM, a tool to help IT organizations assess the enterprise readiness of cloud apps, we turned to the Cloud Security Alliance.
Netskope’s CCI was adapted from the CSA Cloud Controls Matrix, and is a direct result of our commitment to the principles of the Cloud Security Alliance.
Netskope is registered under the CSA Security, Trust & Assurance Registry (STAR)
The CSA STAR is the first step in improving transparency and assurance in the cloud. It is a free, publicly accessible registry that documents the security controls provided by various cloud computing offerings, thereby helping users assess the security of cloud providers they currently use or are considering contracting with.
