Discover how Netskope’s latest product innovations enhance the Microsoft security ecosystem, empowering customers to maximize their existing investments in Purview, Copilot, and Entra Suite.
We’re excited to announce major advancements in our integration with Microsoft, delivering enhanced security capabilities for organizations using Microsoft technologies. These integrations provide businesses with strong data protection, threat prevention, and secure access across their cloud environments.
Through the Netskope One platform, we are taking a holistic and proactive approach to data and threat protection by integrating seamlessly with the Microsoft ecosystem. This unified platform gives Microsoft customers unparalleled security, extending robust protection across diverse cloud environments including Microsoft 365, Azure, and other critical cloud applications.
Netskope One Purview integration: Comprehensive DLP for all of your data everywhere
The general availability of the Netskope One Purview integration is a key milestone, extending Netskope’s data protection to Microsoft Purview. This integration provides comprehensive DLP coverage, securing data in AI applications and unmanaged cloud storage. It unifies data security and governance, applying Microsoft Purview DLP policies across endpoints, SaaS, IaaS, and network traffic, ensuring consistent security, compliance, and threat mitigation with enterprise-wide visibility.
Extend DLP visibility and protection everywhere
Netskope’s integration with Purview provides customers with a more comprehensive view of their data by routing all traffic through Netskope to Purview, enabling the use of existing or new Purview collection and DLP policies to extend visibility from applications and endpoint traffic to include network traffic. Key benefits include comprehensive data visibility across all environments within Purview and consistent detection by applying the same classifiers used in Purview policies for various applications to network traffic. This integration also enhances the Microsoft ecosystem by making insights consumable for use cases such as Entra conditional access, Sentinel, XDR, and Security Copilot, supporting regulatory compliance, investigations, and evidence gathering. Customers can also achieve real-time risk mitigation through uniform Purview policies and Netskope’s Real-time Protection (RTP) policies, expanding Purview’s detection, classification, and action capabilities to the network via Netskope RTPs, and enabling immediate enforcement actions.

Netskope One Advanced SSE for Entra GSA: Now generally available
We are excited to announce the general availability of Netskope One Advanced SSE for Entra Global Secure Access (GSA). This product add-on is a game-changer for organizations heavily invested in Microsoft’s Entra Suite, and Entra’s identity and access management capabilities. Netskope’s strong data loss prevention (DLP) and advanced threat protection capabilities are now integrated with Entra GSA, providing comprehensive security for your users, data, and applications.
Netskope stands out as the ONLY SASE vendor to offer full integration with Entra GSA across DLP, Threat Protection, and SD-WAN. This unique position allows us to deliver a truly unified and robust security experience by enhancing Microsoft Entra and ensuring that your sensitive data remains protected and your network is shielded from evolving threats, regardless of where your users are located or which applications they are accessing.

Users leveraging the Netskope One and Microsoft Entra integration benefit from access control and unified policy management provided by Entra. Additionally, Netskope One offers DLP, UEBA, DEM, and Advanced Threat Protection for all non-Microsoft 365 traffic.
CASB API for Microsoft 365 Copilot: Securing your AI interactions
Netskope has also launched CASB API support for Microsoft 365 (M365) Copilot, providing a critical layer of security and visibility for enterprises embracing AI. This integration empowers administrators with comprehensive insights into Copilot usage and the ability to enforce robust DLP and threat protection policies on all Copilot interactions. This means organizations can confidently leverage the power of M365 Copilot, knowing they can identify licensed users, monitor activities, differentiate between user prompts and AI responses, and even perform historical DLP scans for compliance.
Beyond basic monitoring, Netskope’s solution addresses key challenges like adherence to data compliance standards, advanced data protection, and robust threat prevention. It offers unparalleled visibility into Copilot usage—a prerequisite for mitigating data exposure and meeting regulatory requirements for AI. Furthermore, it allows for granular control over data, ensuring sensitive information isn’t inadvertently exposed and protecting against malware. With Netskope, businesses can securely roll out M365 Copilot, maintaining data integrity and compliance in an AI-driven world.
The solution offers several capabilities, including identifying M365 Copilot-licensed users via CASB API inventory, gaining visibility into user activities through SkopeIT application events, and uniquely differentiating user prompts and Copilot responses with separate events for alerts and DLP incidents. It also allows for the application of DLP and threat protection policies to all user interactions with M365 Copilot, performing DLP scans on historical interactions for compliance and audit, and specifically targeting data-at-rest policies to ”Copilot files” folders in OneDrive. A dedicated dashboard for Copilot is also provided, showing DLP incident counts and drill-down workflows.
