Alan Hannan

Netskope Network Visionary
Alan Hannan has served as a Vice President in operations, engineering, product management, and technology at four public companies, which include Internap, Alcatel-Lucent, Global Crossing, and most recently CrowdStrike. At CrowdStrike, Alan played a pivotal role in growing the company from roughly 450 customers in its early days to more than 15,000 customers today. He also helped expand CrowdStrike’s total addressable market (TAM) from $15B to more than $50B, as well as helped the company achieve an outstanding Net Promoter Score (NPS), an industry-recognized measure of customer experience and business growth potential. Prior to joining CrowdStrike, Alan was Director of Cloud Operations at Aruba Networks. Throughout his career, Alan’s primary focus has been on people and products, combined with the automation and optimization of processes. His early career was at MIDNet, a pre-commercial internet NSFNet regional network provider, which later became a backbone internet service provider (ISP), where he focused on optimizing internet routing, before moving on to manage large IT systems in both public and private clouds. In 2000, Alan started the company called NetVMG, which was later sold to Internap in 2004. Having spent 18 years working in the Bay area, Alan now resides outside of Omaha, NE with his wife, three kids, and two dogs. Alan is also an avid fan of 80s and 90s punk music, home automation, and mid-century Italian movies.
