Earlier today we announced that the Netskope Channel Partner Program is officially live! I’ve spent 20 years working in and around the channel and so it is gratifying to work for a company like Netskope that values the channel so much. Over those years I have come to the conclusion that there are 3 basic things needed for a successful channel program. First is the product itself which must solve real customer problems; second is a mutually beneficial business relationship that meets the goals of both the manufacturer and the channel partner; and third the interaction in the field. Field interaction encompasses many things including ease of doing business; responsiveness and trust, to name a few, and is the area in which I have seen many channel programs struggle.
Over the past few months the discussions and relationships we’ve been building with partners has been very exciting. Partners like CMI, Critical Start, and GuidePoint Security, who joined us in our announcement, as well as others have all provided resounding support for Netskope and see tremendous demand for cloud access service brokers in their customers. As Mike Volk of GuidePoint put it “By becoming a Netskope partner, we have the tools we need to offer our customers the best cloud app visibility, monitoring, usage guidelines and policy controls.” Of course we think Mike is absolutely right. Going forward we’ll continue to forge new relationships and you have my commitment that we will continue to focus on those 3 items that make a partner program successful.
