Course Description

The Netskope Security Cloud Operation and Administration (NSCO&A) course is an in-depth training on the Netskope Security Platform led by a Netskope expert.

 

In this two-day course, you will learn how Netskope helps IT professionals gain greater visibility and actionable information about cloud services, activity, and data in your cloud.

Netskope Security Cloud Operation and Administration (NSCO&A) - Classroom Training

The course begins with an introduction to the Netskope platform and the user interface. The course will then cover key aspects of the platform such as policy creation, DLP, Threat Protection, Netskope NG-SWG, securing data in the public cloud using Netskope, generating reports and analysis and other key features. The course will provide examples and hands-on practice on how to enforce policy on any one or combination of granular factors such as service, category, user, group, device, content, data loss prevention (DLP) profile, and more.

 

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Understand the unique use cases covered by the Netskope Security Cloud
  • Implement Netskope in all deployment modes
  • Utilize Netskope features to assess the level of Software as a Service (SaaS) risk in an organization Secure traffic to and from a range of websites and cloud applications
  • Secure public cloud resources
  • Create granular security policies
  • Restrict the use of cloud applications and services to business approved providers and instances

Additionally, some experience with the Netskope platform is preferred. Furthermore, the course is designed for students that have a thorough understanding of networking technologies and security concepts. Experience with other security technologies (IPS, proxy, and content filtering) is a plus.

Netskope Security Cloud Introductory Online Technical Training

The Netskope Security Cloud Introductory Online Technical Training learning path is the entry point for all training and is designed to give you a foundation in the Netskope suite of products and technologies.

 

Strongly recommended prior to attendance in the NSCO&A course.

Netskope Security Cloud Operation and Administration (NSCO&A)

This two-day course begins with an introduction to the Netskope platform and the user interface. It will then cover key aspects of the platform such as policy creation, DLP, Threat Protection, Netskope for Web, securing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and other key features.

Become a Netskope Cloud Security Administrator (NCSA)

All students who successfully complete the NSCO&A course will be given access to take the Netskope Cloud Security Administrator (NCSA) Exam.

Netskope Security Cloud Implementation and Integration (NSCI&I)

This three-day course covers Risk Insights, IaaS, SAML, Advanced DLP, Netskope for Web, and Netskope REST API, and will provide examples and hands-on practice on how to implement and integrate the Netskope Platform into an enterprise environment.

 

Prerequisites: Completion of the NSCO&A course and passing of the NCSA exam.

Earn your Netskope Cloud Security Integrator (NCSI) certificate

At the end of the NSCI&I course, students may choose to participate in a practical exam. Those who pass will receive the Netskope Cloud Security Integrator (NCSI) certificate.

Become a Netskope Cloud Security Administrator (NCSA)

All students who successfully complete this course will be given access to take the Netskope Cloud Security Administrator (NCSA) Exam.

 

Online exam

  • Details of how to access the exam will be sent to you upon completion of the instructor-led class
  • Must be completed in a single session
  • Attendees get two attempts at the exam
  • Passing score: 80%
