Company positioned furthest for completeness of vision for second consecutive year
LOS ALTOS, Calif. – Nov. 1, 2018 – Netskope, the cloud security company, today announced that Gartner, Inc. has recognized the company as a Leader in the 2018 Magic Quadrant for Cloud Access Security Brokers. In addition to its recognition as a Leader, Netskope is also positioned furthest for its completeness of vision. This is the second consecutive recognition as a Leader positioned furthest for completeness of vision for Netskope. The report evaluated 13 different vendors on 15 different criteria, and a complimentary copy is available for download on the Netskope website.
Gartner defines cloud access security brokers (CASBs) as “on-premises or cloud-based security policy enforcement points, placed between cloud service consumers and cloud service providers to combine and interject enterprise security policies as the cloud-based resources are accessed1.”
