Company significantly expands customer base and headcount, demonstrates leadership in customer success with 97 percent satisfaction rate
Netskope, the leader in cloud security, today announced the company’s fourth anniversary with the milestone of 400 percent year-over-year revenue growth. The company has seen significant growth across many verticals, including the world’s largest corporations in the retail, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and technology industries. Customer Wins from Industry-Leading Enterprises
Netskope has added leading enterprise customers in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, including industries where data breaches equal significant fines. The Netskope Active Platform is deployed at scale in hundreds of large organizations, going beyond the discovery of cloud services by providing real-time protection and security of cloud services, both inline and out-of-band. Among these customers are top three organizations in the financial services, oil and gas, heavy equipment manufacturing, media, retail, automobile manufacturing, credit card processing, software, healthcare, insurance, restaurants and hospitality industries.
More than 80 percent of these customers have purchased the award-winning Netskope Cloud DLP, and more than 70 percent have taken advantage of the company’s flexible all-mode architecture when deploying Netskope. The Netskope architecture enables customers to gain granular visibility and set policy to control the broadest set of apps, both sanctioned and unsanctioned, and govern access from both managed and unmanaged devices regardless of user location. Netskope Support and Customer Success Drives Record Customer Satisfaction
In addition to record customer, employee, and revenue growth Netskope also announced a 97 percent customer satisfaction rate. This rate is attributable to the expansion in 2015 and 2016 of the Netskope Support and Customer Success function, which has enabled the company to redouble its commitment to its customers, ensuring the safe enablement of cloud services across enterprises.
Product Leadership and Patent Recognition Affirms Netskope as Most Comprehensive and Innovative CASB
In February, Netskope announced Netskope Active Threat Protection, a first-of-its kind solution that provides a comprehensive view of cloud app usage by combining threat intelligence, dynamic analysis and machine-learning based anomaly detection. It enables real-time detection, prioritized analysis, and remediation of threats within the cloud ecosystem and reduces the time required for cloud threat detection and forensic analysis from hours to minutes.
This was followed by the launch of the cloud access security broker (CASB) industry’s first closed-loop incident management capabilities in June. These capabilities facilitate the end-to-end incident management process, from incident creation through resolution. In addition, once paired with enhanced, customizable role-based access control capabilities, security teams are able to better tailor the Netskope platform to their corporate incident response processes and user needs
In March, the company was issued a patent for its ability to offer real-time visibility and policy control for unsanctioned cloud app usage, as well as those formally sanctioned by IT, regardless of a user’s location or device type. In July, Netskope obtained its second cloud security patent for technology that provides granular data governance and security policy enforcement on cloud apps, including the ability to set policies for app usage based off variables like device type, user profile and the types of data accessed in the cloud app. Netskope has the most robust patent portfolio of any CASB with over 40 granted patent claims.
Key Hires Drive Company and Product Momentum
Netskope has also added several key hires across Engineering, Product Management, Customer Success, Operations and Sales. These hires include the addition of James Sung, VP of Support and Customer Success, who joined the company in late 2015, key distinguished architects from across the industry adding to the company’s engineering and operational strength. In addition, Netskope continues to expand its field organization, adding sales talent in additional regions across the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific.
