Netskope strengthens partnership with Box; Gives enterprise IT greater visibility and standardized control over content collaboration within the enterprise
LOS ALTOS, Calif. – April 22, 2015 – Netskope, the leader in safe cloud enablement, today announced it has joined Box’s new Platform Partner Program as an Elite member. The new Platform Partner Program was announced in a keynote presentation at Box’s premier developer conference, Box Dev. The event, which took place in San Francisco, attracted more than 1,500 developers and entrepreneurs.
The partnership extends Netskope’s existing relationship with Box and enables Netskope customers to gain deep, instantaneous insights into content collaboration activities and sensitive data movement across Box. Officially announced in December 2014, Netskope for Box helps organizations realize the power of Box’s cloud collaboration platform while providing IT with additional audit and sensitive data controls to ensure compliance. Netskope is also an inaugural member of the Box Trust program.

This news follows Netskope’s recent announcement of the latest version of their Cloud DLP solution. This is the industry’s first Cloud DLP to use machine-learning techniques with data fingerprinting in the cloud for the purposes of inspecting content in cloud apps. For IT, this automates the creation of DLP profiles, which saves time, and produces a more thorough inspection for sensitive content with fewer false positives. In addition to this advance, Netskope shared official integrations with EMC RSA’s and Symantec’s on-premises data loss prevention software.
